WhatsApp is looking to improve status updates in the app through a new future update. As informed by the WABetaInfo website, the new beta version of WhatsApp for Android (2.22.16.3) introduces the ability to add a microphone button in the status option. you can record your own voice and upload it on status.

This type of status update is known as "voice status". By This update, you add a voice recording to your status. Check Screenshot in the below.

How do work the voice Button in Status?
